I am an experienced visual storyteller with an extensive knowledge of the international media scene, latest digital trends and the importance of creating tailor-made video products for social media and online platforms. For the last 10 years my work has taken me to Afghanistan, Brazil, Uganda, South Africa, Jordan and many other places. I've written and directed future length documentaries that have been broadcast on Arte (France), ZDF (Germany), YLE (Finland), SVT (Sweden); TV Globo (Brazil), RAI CINEMA (Italy). As a director, I attended Esodoc (European Social Documentary) in 2005 and I was selected at the Berlinale Talent Campus and at the Doc Clinic in 2006. I spent one year (2007) in Berlin on a fellowship as part of the Nipkow Programme. I have written and directed the following documentary films: “Radio La Colifata” (Fourlab, 2005); “Uganda Calling” (Mestiere Cinema, 2007); M***Verofinta (Kiné, 2008); ; “Girls on the air” (Fourlab, 2009); “Daspu (Mestiere Cinema, 2010); Silvio, One of us (Miramonte Film in co-production with ZDF/ARTE 2011); Squeezed like lemons (Miramonte Film, 2013), Circle (Kine in co-production with RAI CINEMA, 2016). I currently work as free-lance director and editor of digital contents for MSF (Medicine sans Frontiers) and Al Jazeera. Specialities: documentary, self-shooting, editing, journalism, web documentaries and digital contents.
